Eastern Caribbean Forecast : Tropical Storm conditions will affect Puerto Rico and the British Virgin Islands over the next 24 hours. Gusty Winds, thunderstorms and moderate to heavy downpours can be expected during the passage of Karen and a flash flood watch is currently in effect for the British Virgin Islands. Watches are also likely to be issued for Puerto Rico and the U.S Virgin Islands. The Leeward Islands is also expected to see similar conditions however to a lesser extent but some areas could see isolated rainfall totals exceeding 25.4mm or 1 inch. For the rest of the Eastern Caribbean at most a moderate chance of showers is anticipated as Karen continues on its way.
