Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 23, 2021 (SKNIS): The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations has commended St. Kitts and Nevis on the attainment of its 38th anniversary of Independence, which was celebrated on September 19, 2021.
In a message to Governor-General of St. Kitts and Nevis, H.E. S.W. Tapley Seaton GCMG, CVO, QC, JP, LL.D., the Director-General of the FAO, Qu Dongyu stated:
“On the occasion of your National Day, may I extend to Your Excellency in the name of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and on my own behalf best wishes for health and happiness. May the people of your country enjoy peace and prosperity. Highest Consideration.”
In another message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis, the Hon. Mark Brantley, the Director-General of the FAO stated:
“On the occasion of your National Day, may I extend to Your Excellency in the name of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and on my own behalf, I sincerely hope that the links between your country and FAO will be further strengthened for the enhanced welfare of the people of Saint Kitts and Nevis. Highest Consideration.”
