Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis, December 7, 2022 (Press Secretary’s Office): In accordance with the Public Holidays Act CAP.23.23, Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th December, 2022 are officially public holidays. The Act states “if Christmas Day falls on a Saturday, then the next following Monday shall be a public holiday, and if Christmas Day falls on a Sunday, then the next following Monday and Tuesday shall be public holidays.”Christmas Day is Sunday 25th December, 2022, therefore according to the Act the public holidays will be observed on Monday 26th December and Tuesday 27th December 2022.
